Optical Touch Screen based on Grating and Waveguide

چکیده

An optical touch screen based on gratings and waveguides is proposed. Light from the backlight source with the wavelength of 440nm is coupled into the waveguide matrix by gratings for sensing. Small detector arrays are included. The design significantly reduces the cost and complexity as compared to conventional optical touch technologies, which can also improve the color purity of the display. Author
